So I’ve been really busy with work and school that I really haven’t had too much time to update my blog. But Chinese New Years deserves its own blog post. Last Thursday was Chinese New Year 4709 – yup the Chinese have been recording history for nearly 5,000 years. One of my favorite parts of Chinese New Years is the food that I only eat once a year. Here are a few shots of food I ate for New Years Eve and New years Day.
Each dish / ingredient in Chinese cooking has a meaning. While I could list the individual properties for each dish, I will link you to someone’s page who has already done so =)
